What information is used?
Your display name and profile are stored on your device. Apple verifies your iCloud account. The app uses an identifier provided by iCloud to distinguish between accounts; you do not give Pingisligan your password.
Club names, player names, match results and live scoreboards are stored in the club owner's private iCloud storage. Names and contact details entered in a player list are shared with the club's invited participants. You can use nicknames and should only enter information that players wish to share.
Sharing and storage
New clubs are private. The club owner invites participants using Apple's sharing feature. Read access allows participants to view results. Write access allows players and results to be changed or deleted. Only the owner manages invitations and can delete the entire club.
Older clubs may remain in the previous public iCloud database. They are read-only in this version. Copying a club to a new private club does not delete the older information.
A local copy allows results and an ongoing session to be saved on your device. Information is retained until you or the club owner delete it. Apple provides iCloud and operates that service under its own terms.
Result emails
The club owner can send results and standings to members' email addresses. Recipients are added as blind carbon copies (Bcc). The mailing list and unsubscribed addresses are stored separately in the owner's private iCloud storage and are not shared with club participants.
Each result email includes an unsubscribe link. It opens a request to the club owner, who must disable the address manually. Membership and match results remain. Emails already sent are handled by the sender's and recipients' email services and cannot be recalled by deleting information in the app.
Deleting your information
Open Account and privacy and choose Delete my app data. Your own new iCloud clubs, including players and results, are deleted, and you leave clubs shared with you. Older public records created by your iCloud account are also removed. The app then clears your local profile and its saved copies. Deletion requires an internet connection; if a step fails, the app displays an error and you can try again.
Player names and results entered independently by another club owner may remain in that owner's player list. Ask the owner to correct or delete that information. Your Apple account is not deleted.
Other services
The app contains no advertising tracking or analytics SDK. If a club owner adds a news feed, the device fetches it from the selected website, which may receive the device's IP address and technical information about the request. Banner images are stored on the device.
